Local Artist Art Show Announced

Award winning artist Eric LaMarr announces his next solo art show on December 4th, 2015 in Rockledge at Roswell Global. (2900 Murrell Road ) The show starts at 6pm and runs until 11pm. LaMarr is from Rockledge, FL. He is a graduate of Brevard Community College and The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Illustration. Eric acquires most of the inspiration for his paintings from the surrounding Floridian landscapes and nautical based environments.

He is mainly a watercolor artist however; he will occasionally paint with oil and acrylic. Eric’s love for the ocean and nautical environments shines with astonishing clarity through his paintings. One of the many accomplishments that Eric has achieved is creating original designs for Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville, where merchandise bearing his work remains a top seller.

The success of Eric’s work allows him to travel to locations such as Cozumel, Puerto Rico and Key West in search of his next idea for a tropical painting. Lamarr is also currently working on commissioned pieces for some of Brevard’s top CEO’s and community leaders. He recently returned from a trip in upstate New York where he spent 10 days painting marinas, sunsets and lighthouses for a client. Locally his work is also displayed and sold at Grills Seafood and Starbucks in Cocoa Beach.
