Creative Cans In The Sand
Media Day & Artist Meet ‘N Greet
3:30pm Friday November 20th 2015 @ Lori Wilson North Park in Cocoa Beach
Come join us as we turn Lori Wilson Park into its own unique Art Galley while bringing awareness that trash belongs in these beautiful painted cans and not in the sand.
Creative Cans in the Sand is a not for profit with the mission to help encourage beach-goers to dispose of their trash responsibility, and with the hopes that more noticeable, artistically painted cans will result in a cleaner, more litter-free beach. This will also help bring positive global attention that Brevard Beaches are kept clean in a very Creative way.
Judging from the incredible support from the media we have already received, this will create huge interest and engagement for your readers/viewers.
The program has received amazing community support. ”The City looks forward to this partnership and continued efforts to educate the public about keeping our beaches clean,” said Ben Malik, Cocoa Beach City Commissioner. “Remember to do your part, stash your trash when you’re at the beach” said famous artist Guy Harvey.
Creative Cans in the Sand will be presenting a donation to the First Responders Program and Brevard County Animal Care Centers.
